Leslie Ashton (née Carter) was on June 6, 1986 (died January 31, 2012) was an American pop singer. In 2001 she debuted through DreamWorks Records with the single "Like Wow!".
It was originally set to release her debut album, through the label. But it was later cancelled. From 2006 to 2009, Carter was a member of the band "The Other Half" who she founded and lead singer of.
Early Life[]
Leslie Carter was born in Tampa, Florida, the third of five children of Jane Eleonora Schneck (née Spaulding) and the late Robert Carter. She was born at the Garden Villa Retirement Home, where the Carter family were living and working at the time. She was the older sister of singer Aaron Carter and his twin sister Angel and the younger sister of BJ and the famous brother Nick of Backstreet Boys.
She also had an older half-sister named Ginger and a younger half-brother named Kaden, from her dad new wife who named Ginger (née Elrod).

She is in relationship with of her band of The Other Half, Mike Ashton.
On September 12, 2008, Leslie Carter married Mike and moved to Toronto, Ontario. Where she gave birth to a daughter, Alyssa Jane Ashton in 2011.
